Turbo Timer and Harness

Well I used a Greddy Turbo Timer, there are also other units by HKS, Blitz, Apexi, FET and more.  Simply buy one and buy the accompanying harness for your car and year.   Then you'll be all set.  I'm using the Greddy as an example here, the HKS and other Units are very similar.

Needed:  Zip Ties, wire cutter/scisors, 1/4" rachet and 10mm socket, screwdrivers  **cutting tools and other tools may be needed for custom installation**

Ok basically its very simple, I installed my turbo timer so it would work without the parking break up so there was less wiring because of it.

1.  Unplug the battery

2. push your seat all the way back and get under the dash, on the driver side of the car.  Under the dash next to where the key is to turn the car on, you'll see a white plug with about 10 wires coming in and out of.  Unplug this harness, then plug in the turbo timer harness in its place, then plug the stock harness back into the turbo timer harness.  This is the major part of the work, then you got just 1 wire left, the ground wire, on the kick panel side there will be a few screws and so forth, use one that goes threw the metal as a ground screw and your all set. Plug the turbo timer into the harness (its just a plug) and reconnect the car battery and test it out.  **you may need to turn the power button on, to initially start the turbo timer, after that the turbo timer will stay on when you turn the car on**  test it out make sure it works.   Now mount your turbo timer with the accompanying brackets or in a custom location.   You can mount the turbo timer in the dash or under the dash, if under the dash its recommended that you mount it with the brackets, velcro will just come loose in the heat since its got adhesive backing.  Other possible locations are the glove box, or the center console.  Use the zip ties and tie up all the wiring under the dash together and clip the excessive ends.
