*****My old info, all this was on my site when I had my stock twins, a little bit of the info is not current but much of it is still very valuable****

What's been done to it

Color

The full car has been painted in Black with violet pearl, the car is completely black except in bright light where the purple shines a little, very suttle -- check out the pics above its hard to notice

Wheels are stock 17x8 front and 17x9.5 rear  -- many times seen with centercaps removed

Tires BFGoodrich Comp T/A ZR

      255/40/17 front 275/40/17 rear

HKS Intercooler Pipe Upgrade Kit

Downpipe -- one piece replaces both cat's (off road pipe)

HKS FCD (fuel cut defensor)

HKS Air Intake full kit -- kit includes filter, adapter

Turbo Timer -- Greddy w/harness   --- mounted in temporary location

Clutch -- OS Giken, this is the dual disk with flywheel, its sold and marketed by Greddy, approximate new cost is $2000 for clutch and lightweight flywheel  -- Just installed and I love it, grabs nicely and very racey

Brakes -- The TRD HP-Z (street/strip) have been installed, I have new stock rotors and can say Wow its some braking power, Now I stop on a dime and pick it up ::))))

Also Russell Stainless Steel Brake lines, accompanied with Motul DOT4 Racing Brake Fluid

Boost Gauge --  SPI black face on green for clock location 52mm

Race Rims and Tires -- I have a stock set of rims that have BFGoodrich Comp T/A Drag Radials size 275/40/17

In shipment or arrived and not installed

BOV (blow off valve) -- Greddy kit for MKIV

Springs --  Eibach, hate to drop the car, but improves performance for autocrossing, so I'll do it

Suspension -- Update this will mean I will not use the springs, Tein Coil Over Kit from Japan, replaces springs and shocks, fully adjustable ride height, I will be getting the Type HA or RA's whichever is best check out their stuff at http://www.tein.co.jp

Underdrive Pulley -- Unorthodox Racing Underdrive Pulley anodized in Red, uses 1 size smaller belt

Cam Gear -- AEM Cam gear also in Red, 1 only for exhaust side is needed, 2 is needed when using cam's or to look good

Strut Tower Braces -- Front and Rear by Cusco, only Cusco to my knowledge makes front and rear, they look very nice too

Radiator Hose -- Cool Flex Radiator hose with blue ends

Greddy Front Spoiler -- greddy front spoiler the original in Fiberglass

Upcoming modifications

Rims and Tires -- would like some show rims and would also like a custom light weight set of drag rims for big drag radials

Lower Tie bars -- as I hear they are similar to strut tower braces but go underneath;  and Cusco and Gab make them, I am looking into them and will give you the full scoop when I find out

Anti-Sway Bars -- when they are available I'll get the TRD bars, nice for autocrossing too **It appears the TRD bars may never be available and so I will get another set possibly ARC or Tanabe**

Profec-B -- will boost up to 17-18 psi, only profec-b works good with TT Supra's, don't get the A

Rims and Tires  -- a set of 18" for the show car look, will drive it only for show, during racing will use R1's on Old 17" stock rims with my old rubber

Fuel management -- there are many choices for me when boosting up high

A.. Up the fuel rail pressure forcing more fuel threw the injectors during its normal pulse-width

B.. G-Force or other computer upgrade

C.. Computer piggy back onto ECU to change on the fly adjustments with laptop, this is ultimate setup, not                          cheap and not available for Supra's to my knowledge, or not available in US

D..   HKS VPC (Vein Pressure Converter)  this removes the Mass AirFlow Sensor and lets you trick                           the computer into adding more fuel, cost is around $1000-$1250  (also suggested with the VPC is a GCC it                            helps you fine tune your fuel curve via RPM and simply plugs into the rear of the VPC)

E..   Apexi makes a similar unit like the HKS VPC although its cheaper around $600 and does not remove the Mass                              AirFlow Sensor

F..   New Injectors, I've heard of the 680cc and 720cc injectors, also just adding injectors in the intake stream is                             possible

G..    Recommended new Injectors 720cc, new fuel rail, new fuel pump, new fuel lines, fuel pressure regulator,                            upgrade computer to handle injectors and control with VPC for fine tuning, I will do this if I get bigger                            turbo's or single turbo

Since I have stock twin turbo's I will do computer upgrade and/or VPC currently due to cost

Carbon Fiber Dash -- will fully carbon or carbon look alike the dash, not sticker kit, will pull it apart

Turbo Upgrade == Ok I said I'd never do it, but since the new 16G turbo's are out, i would like to do them, I believe upgrading the stock twins are a waste of time and money since the performance upgrade is minimal and since the cost is high to do so  ****Update I checked out the 16G's and think its not worth it right now due to its current configuration, more fine tuning of the system is neccessary in my opinion b4 anyone should seriously consider purchasing, if you want to know more of my opinions on this please email me****

Turbo Upgrade Update (7/27/98) -- ok after some searching and some test driving I have discovered the beauty of a single turbo, with a small turbo like a T-04B you can get very similar spool up like stock and lots more top end, also if you want to go with a bigger single turbo that's great for drag racing, and currently threwout the nation there are a few people trying new Twin Turbo kits and developing their own which has promise especially if using 2 small turbo's for the street, or 2 huge ones for race,  currently Blitz says you can get as much as 900 HP from their kit *insiders say the lag is huge and power does not start till 4500 RPM*,  for sure though with 2 huge twins a upgraded driveline will be needed

Intercooler -- well I said I wouldn't do this with stock twins, but if I get upgraded twins I may need the cooling power, also the Greddy Side Mount with stock twins promises to have good long term cooling when the motor is heated up and probably is nice for highway or road racing

Body Kit -- I want one but don't want to scrape bottom to much, so I am undecided about this, I have a greddy front spoiler but am still unsure if I'll use it, also I like the TRD kits the most and would like it but due to expense I can't get it right now

Carbon Fiber Drive Shaft -- if a budy of mine out in TX gets it done maybe I'll buy one, it supposedly should save some weight off of  the stock driveshaft or so since the stock one is pure steel, also it well help relieve stress occured since it will dampen the shock a little, 3 good reasons to get it save weight and improve power and safety goes up since the stock shaft will break and possibly enter the car or hit the ground at which point vaulting into the air is a possibility, the carbon fiber shaft will disintegrate and not enter vehicle or really damage anything it just shreds back into its original type fiber shape

Adjustable Cam Gears -- A definite, but more in the latter part of your mods since you don't want to constantly keep adjusting them, TRD makes a set (yet to be shipped) and I hear AEM ones are nice, and HKS also has a set, Speedtek Performance in Jacksonville, FL has some good experience with them and they dyno tune the car with their in house dyno to setup for maximum HP

Cam's -- well HKS makes em and they aren't cheap at $1400 or so, their are mild medium, medium+ and wild the wild you will want if you have upgraded your turbo's the profile is 272, the Mild are 248's the meduim's are 256's and they are what you should use with stock twins with some to maximum upgrades and the meduim+ at 264 profile is a good streetable use for single turbo's as I am told the stock profile is like 240  (I will verify these #'s soon)

Free Mods

Diy (do it yourself) stuff --

Front turnsignal removal -- gets more air into intercooler, some say it looks better, and weight savings est at 2lbs

Reroute the Coolant in Throttle Body

Top secret

There are 2-3 different secret for now custom Ideas I'm working on to make the Supra TT look and function better, these are under developement and have not been done yet to my knowledge, some things are items that I feel should've been incorporated into the Supra as stock and hence will look stock to the normal and maybe even supra enthusiast, more too come as the project progresses
